A Floor Worthy of the Car Show
Epoxy Flooring in Baker suits a town that throws a car show every fall. The Baker Buffalo Festival, held on the last full weekend in September since 1993, includes a parade and a car show alongside the fair. If you spend weekends waxing a classic or a truck, the floor under it is part of the picture. A clean, glossy garage floor makes the car look better and makes detailing easier.
Gloss, light and detail work
A high-gloss clear coat bounces light around a garage and helps you spot swirl marks while you polish. Light gray or white base colors brighten the room further. Some owners pair a solid color with a checkerboard or border pattern. We can mask lines for that, and we will tell you honestly where a smooth gloss will show more wear.
Tires that sit for weeks
Show cars and project cars often sit in one spot for long stretches, sometimes on stands or with heavy jacks. We use a thick base coat and a hard topcoat so jack stands and floor jacks do not dent or scuff the surface. Rubber pads under jack stands are still a smart habit.
Homes that change hands
In 2019 Baker had 5,276 housing units, and about 67.4% of households owned their homes while 32.6% rented. Owners planning to sell often ask whether a coated garage helps a listing. We cannot promise a resale number, but a clean, sealed floor does photograph well and hides the oil stains buyers notice. Landlords tend to pick a mid-tone flake that hides wear between tenants.
An older town name
Baker was first called Cottonville, after a large cotton plantation, and took its current name in 1888. Many neighborhoods have been here a long time, so we often see slabs with old paint, sealer or settlement cracks. Grinding gets the surface back to clean concrete, and filled cracks stay hidden under the new finish.

Baker Questions
What finish makes a show car look best in the garage?
A light base color with a high-gloss clear coat reflects the most light. It looks sharp, though it shows dust sooner than a busy flake pattern.
Will jack stands damage an epoxy floor?
A thick, fully cured system resists denting well. Rubber pads under stands spread the load and add another layer of protection.
Is a coated garage a good choice for a rental in Baker?
Many landlords like it because it cleans quickly between tenants. A mid-tone flake hides scuffs that a solid color would show.
Can you add a checkerboard or border pattern?
Yes. We mask and coat each color in stages. Patterns add time to the job, and we include that in the written quote.
